Preparation type: BOIL
Preparation instructions: 1. Bring 6 cups of water to a rapid boil. 2. Add macaroni and boil uncovered for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Drain. Return to pan. 4. CLASSIC PREPARATION: Add 1/4 stick or 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter, 3 tbsp. of 2% milk, and contents of cheese packet. LIGHT PREPARATION: Add 1 teaspoon of unsalted butter, 3 tbsp. of skim milk, and contents of cheese packet. 5. Mix until smooth and creamy. Serve hot. Makes 2 servings.
